The Passing of the Torch and New Beginnings

Hello everyone! This is Superkim111 with a special announcement. SabahKhan has officially bequeathed me the title and position of Group Founder. While she has taken the position of Group Co-Founder, this means that I've been left to run the show from now on. That being said, I'd like to take the time to outline a few changes that will be, or already have been made, to the group.

First, descriptions and admin widgits. I've already gone ahead and added some descriptions to certain widgits throughout the group pages. This is just to clarify a few things for newcomers and the uninformed and to encourage you guys to come to me with any questions you have. I've also added some brief bios to the admin profiles on the 'About Us' page. This is also an effort to educate new group members.

Second, the Gallery's 'Recent Contributor' widgit. After taking a good look at this widgit I came to the conclusion that the title wasn't as accurate as it could be. True it does talk about group member's recent submissions, however it also places great emphasis on the amount of works that have been submitted. As such it has been re-named, 'Top Gallery Contributors'. If you have any ideas as to how this widgit can be further improved, please send me a note with your suggestions.

Third, rules and journals. As I stated in a previous journal, I intend to write up a new journal entry dedicated entirely to our Group Submission Policy. Once I've submitted it, I will be providing a link to it right on the front page in the Rules section regarding submissions. So if you are ever unsure as to which folder to submit something to, just head over there and hopefully your question will be answered. If it isn't, you can comment on the journal with a link to the work in question and ask me what I think. I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I possibly can. I will also be adding to a rule on adult content. Our group does allow you to submit such things and I have no intention of changing that. However where previously we just wanted you to send it to the right folder, we now want you to make sure that the proper mature filters are applied. We wouldn't want anyone to accidentally stumble on something risque, now would we? Finally, I will be adding a completely new rule. This rule involves triggers and trigger warnings. Like the Group Submission Policy, this will be getting its own journal which will be uploaded soon.

Fourth, submissions. Don't panic, nothing is going to change. I'm just giving you a fair warning that I intend to go on a bit of a submission adding spree. So if it seems like you have more feedback messages than normal, that's probably me. Sorry! But hopefully you'll find some stuff you like!

Five, a Thor 2: The Dark World review. Just like with Iron Man 3, I will be posting a Thor 2 review. Also like Iron Man 3, I will be waiting until it's been out for a month before posting it. That'll give you guys a chance to see it for yourself with minimal risk of spoilers. Of course the journal itself with also have a Spoiler Alert just in case.
